Welcoming 2026 at Rotterdam Square’s New Year Reception |

On Thursday, January 22, we celebrated the start of 2026 at the Rotterdam Square New Year’s Reception at Erasmus MC. It was wonderful to see the network come together again and start the year with new connections and energy. Robert Simons opened the evening by welcoming five newly landed companies to Rotterdam: New Nörm, UGenome AI, Coronet Ventures, United Imaging, and The Organoid Company. |

Spatium Medical, a medtech spin-off from Erasmus MC, is transforming laparoscopic surgery with its smart CO₂ insufflator – a device designed to reduce complications and speed up recovery for patients. With over 300 enthusiastic students attending, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect talented future professionals with our network. |

Health~Holland awards second round of PPP programmes to accelerate LSH innovation |
Health~Holland has announced that, for the second time, public–private partnership (PPP) programmes have been awarded funding under the Health~Holland PPP subsidy scheme, with a total of €32.7 million in PPP funding granted. The programmes address a broad spectrum of important themes, such as mental and brain health, women’s health, labour-saving technology, immunology, and oncology. |
